It fits in the ashtray section of the console and is made of precision cut, 1 8" ABS polymer. It is designed to fit VDO Vision Spin Lok gauges without buying their optional U bracket adapters and of course fit U bracket gauges also. The texture of the panel blends with the console for a clean look and can be painted to match your car's interior. Economically

Well built
Well made product. I have an volvo xc60 and it fits the oil filter housing perfectly but because of its thickness, there's some interference with the heat shield or it could be part of the skid plate assembly that is next to the filter housing.
