The trade name for this material is called "Longhorn" because of the heavy grain design embossed into the material. We always make our headlinings oversize to make fitting easier for the end user. The necessary pockets in the lining are sewn in to accept your original headlining stays.

I am incredibly impressed with this Carhartt wallet. Right out of the box, you can tell the full-grain brownish saddle leather is top notch quality. It has a great weight to it, feels incredibly durable, and has that authentic, premium leather smell.
