He became a farmer instead along the Minnesota South Dakota border near Marietta, Minnesota. In 1914, he married Theresa Krengel and they raised 12 children that grew into 56 grandchildren and 113 second cousins. Minnekota Hereford Ranch represents the origins of the John and Theresa Schmidt family that continues to grow

We are obsessed with the Si Sabo Kids books! We got the first set of Street Vendors and now this is such a great addition. Our daughter loves these and reads them over and over.
